ABOUT CHRIS BIGENHO, PHD
For as long as I can remember, I have been capturing moments of time through photography. My name is Chris Bigenho and I am a collector of stories. I believe that a life well lived is a life full of stories and it would be my privilege to capture your family’s special moments as a collection of stories for you and yours to enjoy for years to come.
FUN FACTS
- I love to travel. Along with all 50 states, I have visited over 22 countries covering North and South America, and across Europe. I thrive on adventure and love meeting new people in new places.
- If it is outdoors, I am game. I got to call Yellowstone National Park my backyard for over to years. I lived in log cabins, hiked all across the park taking a camera everywhere I went. The outdoors is my home.
- In my youth, I was a competitive figure skater reaching the Junior Pair level. I went on to coach figure skating for many years.
- I have my PhD in Educational Computing and have spent over 35 years in education teaching all ages from elementary through graduate school. In k-12, I have taught science, instrumental music, and computer science. I have also taught photography for adults and teach as an adjunct professor.
TELLING YOUR STORY
As a father of three and long time educator, I understand just how fleeting special moments can be. As a world traveler and adventurer, I love to collect stories. Allowing me to learn your family story and join in your celebrations allows me to create heirloom photographs that capture the spirit of these special moments in a way that allows your stories to be passed from one generation to the next. Whether it is the formation of a new family marked by your pending wedding date or the passing of precious moments experienced by your established family or some crazy and exciting adventure, it would be a pleasure and honor to be there to capture your personal story for generations to come.
Now that you know a little more about me, I would love to learn more about your family story and your photographic needs.
