Your family portraits are the most valuable art you will ever own. They represent family history captured and frozen in time and will outlive all of us as they are passed down from generation to generation. They make a statement of who we are, who we were. They are priceless and as a result, demand a process that honors the place these images will hold in your family history. It is time we move our family history from the Internet and phones to a place of honor in our homes so they are there to be appreciated and passed down through the generations.
INVESTMENT
THE PROCESS
1. In-Person Consultation
The process begins with you getting to know more about me and more importantly, I get to know about your family and the vision you hope to create through this photo session. During this time, we will go over different photo packages and options that would fit best with your plans. Additionally, you will have a chance to see samples of the type of art that will come from YOUR family’s special day. This session can take place at your home where we can view the locations where you might display your new art or at a remote location near you. Once you select me to capture your family’s precious memories in photos, the session fee is due to hold the day.
2. Photographic Design Session (Virtual and In-person)
Starting with information gathered at the consultation session, you will receive a personalized questionnaire that will help me get to know you and your family. We will explore locations, colors, outfits, props, concepts, and more. Making of family art is a collaborative process and it is important that you and your family have the opportunity to engage in the process. Much of this work happens virtually and asynchronously but will culminate in a virtual or in-person session to answer any questions and ensure we are prepared for your family's session.
3. Portrait Session: Time to Make Art for Today, A Gift for Tomorrow
Let’s make art together and create something special and priceless to enjoy in your home today and leave behind for your children’s grandchildren to enjoy and pass along.
4. Preview and Order
The images have been captured and processed. I have reviewed them and given each a quick edit to prepare them for a special viewing. We will meet in person and your family will have a chance to see your images on a big screen and select what you would like to print for wall art, albums, photo boxes, gifts and more. Any images you select for print or include in albums or photo boxes will also be available electronically for sharing on social media.
5. Production and Delivery
Your work is done. I will meticulously edit and retouch your selected images, complete your albums and place your order with the labs. When your precious images arrive, we will schedule a time for them to be delivered to you at your home.
INVESTMENT
Initial investment is $300 for up to 2 hour session. Additional fee may be required for use of studio or photographic pass based on location(s) selected for session. Session fee is due at time of booking. Additional location based fees are due prior to the schedule shoot.
