Engagement Photos and Pizza- Love at First Bite

When Maranda and Ryan reached out for engagement photos, I was thrilled to document their journey towards marriage. Our initial meeting allowed us to dive into their interests and the visual style they dreamed of capturing. To bring their vision to life, I invited them to share inspiration photos, which unveiled a distinct theme: pizza and couples sharing slices together. Intrigued by this playful motif, I couldn't resist asking, what’s the story behind the pizza? In the spirit of unraveling the tale, let me share it with you.

 Maranda shared the following...

"We met on the dating app bumble and immediate hit it off. We had really great banter and we both thought the other person was really funny and easy to talk to. He asked me out to dinner and asked me if I had been to hideaway pizza and I said no cause I was somewhat new to the area. He told me that it’s one of his favorite pizza shops. He discovered it when he was in college in Stillwater where the original Hideaway Pizza is. He was so happy they have locations in DFW now. He wanted to share a little part of his college town with me and I thought that was really sweet. So on February 7, 2025 we officially met! The date went super well we talked a lot and shared a Pollinator pizza. From there we went out every night for the next few weeks. It was long before we were talking marriage! We went back for our six month anniversary and he proposed on a visit to my sisters in San Antonio in December of 25. It was so special to return to the spot where we met in person for the first time a year later."

Upon hearing this heartwarming story, I connected with Dakota, the GM at the Plano Hideaway Pizza, sharing Maranda and Ryan's endearing journey. I was delighted when Dakota graciously offered us the opportunity to create a memorable experience for the couple during off-hours, allowing us to craft a unique narrative within the warm atmosphere of his establishment.
